Tiny creatures
π± Theme Based Learning – Tiny
Creatures
Today, we have introduced the theme Tiny Creatures.
This topic is very engaging for young children, as they can easily understand
it through actions, movements, and sounds. Learning becomes fun and
meaningful when children are allowed to explore naturally.
To enhance curiosity, teachers and parents can create a
small Insect Corner in the classroom or at home. This corner can include
toy insects, picture cards, magnifying glasses, and books. Children can visit
the area, observe, and explore tiny creatures in a playful way.
This theme is designed in such a way that children’s sensory,
auditory, and visual skills are enhanced. Through hands-on activities,
sound imitation, and visual exploration, children develop better understanding
and interest in the topic.
The activities listed below are planned for Nursery
children (3 years and above). You can follow these activities for two
weeks, as young children enjoy routine and repetition in their daily life.
The activities can also be shuffled or adjusted based on the
availability of materials.
